Pastor Anthony Bass left Virginia in the fall of 2011 to embark upon God’s vision of building a unique church planted here in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Over the course of four years, Pastor Anthony developed relationships throughout the community while casting God’s vision that had been placed in his and his wife’s heart.

 

     In 2013, Pastor Anthony and his wife Dawniqua began hosting Bible studies at Segue Coffee in downtown Minneapolis. This lasted for two years gathering no more than six to eight attendees at any one time. Yet, as support for the vision grew throughout the Christian community and the metro area, momentum began to build for a church.  A small group of six dedicated followers of Christ were called to plant a church, holding a soft launch on September 14, 2014 with 44 in attendance.  On March 22, 2015 Endurance Church celebrated its grand opening with 144 in attendance in the cafeteria of Woodland Elementary School.

 

     In conjunction with key partnerships, Grace Church in Eden Prairie and Vanguard Ministries in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the church continues to grow and carry the message of Jesus Christ to the community of Brooklyn Park.
